Malayalam cinema has a new box-office king, and it arrived faster than anyone expected. Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, the Onam-season romantic comedy directed by Girish A.D. and headlined by Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, has crossed the ₹300 crore mark worldwide to become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time, according to box-office reports carried by Outlook India and DNA India.

That total carried it past Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, the 2025 superhero film starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, whose lifetime worldwide gross Outlook India places at ₹301.41 crore.
